# Why you should join us

While “World in Pieces” has been completely created by our team of developers and designers the idea behind millionpieces is to create wonderful Artworks together with famous Artists and our great Community.

There are many reasons for Artists to contribute to the millionpieces project:

* You have the exclusive chance to be 1 of only 100 Artists to create an Artwork with many co-creators (segment-buyers). This will be great fun.
* You will become a part of our “Artists Wall of Fame” on millionpieces.io. Being the featured Artist of an Artwork in this unique project could boost your degree of prominence by a lot.
* You will get in return up to 1000 PIECE Token (0.1 PIECE for every acquired segment on your artwork - read more about it on PIECE Distribution).
* For every secondary sale of a segment from your created artwork that happens on millionpieces.io you’ll get a cut of 1% of the service fees. This could result in a residual income for you.

**How does an Artist contribute to an Artwork?**

1. Together we create the idea for the artwork
2. You’ll design the underlying Art of the Artwork where the segments get on top
3. Together we sketch the positions of the segment
4. Together we create the NFT-Certificates
5. We handle the rest.

If you are interested in working with us on an artwork please introduce yourself in the artist subchannel of our discord group.
